David Bron

Director

David loves to bring fun learning experiences to others. He has taught overseas in South Korea and Australia, wowing everyone he met with his extraordinary height. He loves to lead others and be part of a team. His favourite “team” ever is the one he, his wife Julianne, and son James are on together.

Julia Brotherston

Host Family Coordinator

Julia has a natural ability to provide care, make people feel welcomed, and give people a home away from home. It is with these strengths that she approaches her job, and also what makes her so good at it! There is no problem she can’t fix, making her an invaluable part of the team.

Brad Lemon

Camp Director and Teacher

Brad has been teaching international students for 15 years in Canada, Korea, and Japan. He loves the opportunity to meet students from other countries and learn about their culture. We is married with 4 children and they love camping, bike riding, and watching hockey.

Esther Schuurman

Teacher

Esther is the kindest go-getter you will ever meet, and teacher extraordinaire. She has a real gift of making learning fun and engaging. She excels in the younger grades, where she is a full time primary teacher here in Chilliwack.

Ryleigh Jacobs

Teacher

Hailing from the rural outback of South Africa, Ryleigh can teach her students words in two different accents. Her desire to do her absolute best (which she does) is only surpassed by her heart for others.

Caleb Vanderleek

Teacher

Caleb is a wonderful mix of calm, vision, and thoughtfulness. He has a knack for making his students feel at ease in the classroom. He also is the musical talent of our staff. When not in the classroom, you can find him writing songs or dominating his friends in board games.

Kim Stewart

Teacher

Kim combines a nurturing care for the students she teaches with an ability to push them and help them grow. As a high school PE teacher, Kim shares her love of adventuring in the outdoors and playing sports.
